SCIENCE TECHNICIAN – Part time – 15 hours per week.

St Mary’s Independent School are looking to appoint a confident, self-motivated hard working individual to the post of  Science Technician.  The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, self-motivated and a strong team player, with excellent organisation skills.

You will be required to support to the Science Department in the preparation of materials, equipment and resources to facilitate teaching and learning. This role will include keeping up to date with health and safety requirements, organising and collecting resources for lessons and returning and maintaining equipment.

Applicants will demonstrate a passion for working with young people and a strong sense of belief that every child with the right support can achieve to their very best.

Previous experience would be advantageous but is not essential as training on the job is offered.

Training on the job is offered.

Use of Word, excel and web based programmes is preferable.

First Aider qualification is desirable.
