Public Speaking Final

Many congratulations to Callum, Hardev and Edward for reaching the regional finals of the English Union Public Speaking competition in Salisbury. It was held at Bishop Wordsworth Grammar School and  brought together five teams from across Hampshire, all competing for a place in the SW regional finals in March. The boys produced an excellent performance, Chairing and Questioning  a speech on ‘Private Cars should be rationed’ and Speaking about the ‘Outdated concept of the Monarchy’. This was only the teams second competition but they certainly demonstrated great skills in the art of public speaking, they should be very proud of their performance. The winning team on the evening was the Bournemouth Girls School. Well done to them.
