During the Holidays
We can really shout that ‘things are looking UP at St. Mary’s College. Work began immediately we broke up early July with a scaffold quickly enveloping the chapel, main building and the dining hall. The work was completed early this week with just the scaffold at the rear of the College to be dismantled. John de la Mennais looks on approvingly and Mary was justly proud of the chapel. The tiles on the latter were valuable West Country products and the builders were able to save 75% of the originals. The modern versions are cleverly slotted at the rear. Perhaps you can spot them?
