Don Bosco Camp 2012
The annual Don Bosco Camp was again a success-not only for the boys from around the Portsmouth Diocesan parishes but also for St. Mary’s College. William INGRAM won the ‘Camper of the Year Award’ and joins two of his brothers whose names are also on the shield he is holding.
The silver cup (which William keeps) is here being presented by the Director, Fr. Mark Hogan. The Camp draws heavily on past College Bosco Boys for leadership. Behind our eleven pupils (the twelfth had to pull out because of a family illness) are James Kerslick, Mark Ingram, Matthew Harris, Tom McCullen, Lewis Mason and Fahad Siddiqui.
One other-Mark Shepperd-could only help at the weekends because of his R.A.F. flying commitments. All the 40 boys were reminded that places for Camp 2013 had to be booked as soon as possible. Only two campers reached their ‘retirement’ age this year; so-in theory-only two places are available for July 28th-August 3rd. 2013
