Beauty and the Beast – a great success!
The curtain closed on Saturday with yet another successful production at the College. This year’s production of Beauty and the Beast was played to capacity audiences on Friday and Saturday, with the cast receiving a standing ovation on their opening night. It was a spectacular production with music and costumes that could have graced any professional theatre. The cast gave of their all and demonstrated to the gathered community just how talented they are.
A big thank you to Mrs Hyde, Mr O’Farrell, Dr Kowaleski, for their continued commitment to drama at the College and the tireless efforts to support and develop the wonderful talents of our students. A thank you also to Mrs Farnley, who stepped into the role of Head of Music in January and managed, with the gathered band to produce some outstanding musical support for the cast.
There are always many people who need to be thanked, the students who form the Sound, Lighting and Stage crews and parents who once again give of their time and skills in Make up, Costumes, Hair and Front of House. You know who you are and I thank you on behalf of the College for your continued support.
